Ok so I used to sign up for identity theft protection. I have tried lifelock, trusted id, and protect my id. Well one day I went to Sears to apply for a credit card and I was declined do because I had a fraud alert on my credit reports which I have placed. Now also lifelock says that protects your identity and each time a i would apply for credit and things like that they would email me, send a letter by mail or call me.
