The item had a clear tag of 50% off $16.99. My receipt only took 25% off of $16.99, charging me $12.74 instead of $8.49. I brought it to the cashiers attention, who said the receipt was correct. He said that since the "savings" said $4.25 I paid $8.49, yet the receipt said $12.74. When I added the total, I was indeed charged $12.74. $8.49 was nowhere on my receipt.
