I sent my business laptop in for repair in June of '08. They informed me that it was going to cost $298 to repair the laptop. When I asked them to just send it back, they said THAT would cost $175 for benchwork. I decided to have them "repair" the laptop and began making payments. They indicated in an early email that once they received approximately $175, they would order the parts and begin the repairs. That amount had been received by them in December.
