I bought Account Secure, a service provided by HSBC (when you call, the reps even answer "HSBC). They are supposed to pay when I lose my job. I immediately called after I received notice of lay off. The rep told me to call again as soon as the unemployment insurance starts. I asked why...he said it is the policy. I said, well, I am supposed to call right away. He said don't worry.
