I had two Macy's credit cards and my bank issued checks to pay these off. They sent both checks at the same time. One cleared and this was reflected on my account. The second one cleared, but was not reflected on my account. This was in January. It is now March and I am still getting harassing phone calls telling me I owe them money. In February my bank faxed their collections department a copy of the check that cleared. At the same time I also faxed them a copy of my cleared check, but they have yet to fix THIER screw up.
