After calling to cancel my AOL service, I received a letter 2 weeks later saying how AOL was excited that I changed my mind! I never changed my mind. I called to confirm cancellation and they couldn't find it in their system! The slow woman on the phone kept asking me questions about, "Are you aware that..." and inserted lines there. She kept me on the phone for 20 minutes trying to change my mind and finally I told her " I want to cancel today, I want this taken care of today, right now!" AOL will do anything to keep you from canceling, so be firm and tell them NOW to cancel your account! read full review »
