I purchased a book for a gift. Unfortunately the child had the book and when I tried to return it, because I did not retain the slip they could give me the lowest possible price including the online prices. He was very sure the book was not from Borders, (I told him I purchased it at Barnes and Noble) but for a $22 book, he could credit me 10.99 only to be used immediately.
