I purchased a B&G generator ib July 2008, I am 68 years old, living on a limited buget. I had to borrow the money to purchase the generaator because I live in the north and power failures are common here. My generator is now not working, I called electrician who installed and he tells me generator windings are gone and have to be replaced. I asked if it would be under warranty and I was told no.
