I was rear-ended by a USAA policy holder - in the 3 days since, my ins co has had an adjuster come to my house, provide an appraisal, and a list of shops nearby that I could consider using for repairs - I have made several calls to USAA - once they are able to get in touch with their policyholder, and determine fault - they will let me know about an appraisal and repair.
