Home Depot has always granted me a discount for being in the military. Recently I was informed that only certain issued picture ID cards would be accepted. The county that I live in, Dutchess County, NY, has begun issuin these new photo ID cards to ALL veterans in the county. My brother tried using his card at the Hyde Park / Poughkeepsie store, on Route 9, as few days ago and was told the card is not a valid Government Issued card and cannot be accepted for the discount.
