My wife and I bought a Royal Holiday package in the Bahamas in 2003. It was used one time that year with "bonus" points we were given at that time in order to spend a few days in Cancun at their resort in the "off season". We paid the yearly fee fro 4 or 5 years and stopped when trying to get this cancelled. So, we gave them over $13K plus fees for 4 or 5 years, and it's never been used.
