Sold my house and was moving across town. I called Direct TV two months before the move to cancel my account. I asked for three receiver boxes so I can send their equipment back. I only received one and called for more boxes. When I called, I was specifically told "you have older type receivers and you can just recycle them, we don't need them". So, I got rid of them and moved into my new home. Four months later, I receive a bill from Direct TV for $148 because I didn't return the receivers.
