I have been working at Publix for 3 years as a cashier. Sure shopping may be a pleasure sometimes... But working there is a different story. Full Time is hard to come by so your stuck working unstable part-time hours. I mean how are you supposed to be able to live off of 30 hours one week and 15 the next? Managment doesnt like to get thier hands dirty and will often stand in a group and watch us struggle.Must be nice to get paid more to do less.I used to be a chipper, happy cashier with the 'publix' motto.
