My husband ( 6'3 tall and weighing 250 lbs) and I (5'8 and 160 lbs) tried both the generic memory foam and then the Tempurpedic New Deluxe memory foam mattress. Great initial comfort for shoulder/hips, but in the mornings, both of us had lower back aches. After 75 nights, the back pain was so intense and lasted all day even with P/T, stretches for hours and back/stomache muscle strengthening exercises. So we switched to an ultra firm S/F.
