Sears Kenmore Electric Range - model 790-9656 has an issue whee the stove top goes on with the switch off. The only way to turn off the range is to shut off the circuit breaker. In our case I was burned by the stove top. When I contacted Sears they refused to fix it because they claim my serial number is not covered under the recall. They were horrible.
