I kept my account open and opened another account with my husband. I had asked the teller if there was a problem doing this, he said, "No". It should be fine. So I listened to the idiot. I said, if there was an overdrawn amount on this account will the main joint account take over and pay for the amount used, he said, "YES". So, when I went to used the account the lady at the counter said, that the account was overdrawn. It was not, because the money would automatically withdraw from the joint account.
