I joined Fitness Edge and asked if there were any penalties/difficulties cancelling the gym if I did not use it. I was told no. Months later after little use I called to cancal my membership - I had to contact ABC financial the billing agency. They would not let me cancel over the phone - I had to send a certified letter. I did this April 2nd and was then still billed for my April month's membership plus an additional April 1st $40 for yearly enhancements to the club.
