When trying to work for these people. Watch your back. Because if they don't want or you dont apply to bending over backwards for them. They will stick you. As far as work ethics & direction. They consider themselves very anal. Direction can be either lacking or discerning but do not try to assimilate or provide your own input although they say it's inspired. Just not required.
