I have a 2003 200 Optimax Sportjet with 130hrs on it and the motor has blown. After 3 weeks of trying to figure out why the motor broke, it was determined by a Marine Surveyor that a bad casting of the #5 piston was to blame. Contacted Mercury, apparently the manufacturing warranty is for a whole year only. It is no longer a manufacturing issue and the warranty is useless.
