I applied and finally after obtaining an attorney, got a small loan modification from bank of america which finalized this year. I had some damage to my flooring due to a water leak so Mercury Insurance issued me two checks, the first to get me started replacing the floor and the 2nd one to finish. The first check was fine, but the 2nd one was payable to myself and b of a. B of A is holding the money because I received a modification.
