I opened an account with Global telelinks in 2008. Still date I have been recharging my account to just keep it active. Oflate I have not been using their service and hence called to cancel my account. At that time I am been told that I will lose all my balance (roughly $65!!) and nothing will be credited back to me. Itseems this is as per their policy where they will only refund the recharge amount within the last 3 months!
