bought whirlpool gold GX5SHDXVD 3/31/10 total cost $1, 259.10 at Lowes. Refrigerator fridge and freezer quit working 4/27 /11. Called lowes were told to deal with whirlpool since 12 mos warranty had just expired but companies may honor warranty since within 30 days of expiration.
