I received an RCA Opal mp3 player for Christmas last year. After 3 months, it short-circuted. Now, whenever I press the power button, the screen is stuck on initializing, and I'm unable to listen to music anymore (which is kind of the point of an mp3 player). I can't return it to Walmart, since it was a gift from my mom, (no receipt) and I know tech service can't help me since all I would be able to do is download an updated firmware version for the player.
