I was a direct tv customer for 6 years, My box went bad and I received a new one under my customer protection program. little did I know when I canceled my account that I would be charged 512.00 because I received a receiver that I had paid for for 6 years and my agreement renewed for 2 years. Now my checking account is over drawn, I am disputing the charges with my bank. Tell me how can direct tv automatically charge this amount and not automatically charge the last bill? and they just automatically take out them amount with no prior authorization.
