Well Point Pharmacy - controlled by Blue Cross Well Point has unilaterally changed co-pay amounts for prescription medications without Blue Cross approval. For example, for expensive prescriptions Well Point will contact the subscriber and state that the co-pay amount has changed from $100 to $200 per month, when in fact Blue Cross did not change the co-pay amount. Unless the subscriber complains enough to have Blue Cross investigate Well Point, the subscriber is charged the extra $100 per month needlessly and to the benefit of Well Point.
