I have (more like had) been a customer of Chase for almost 10 years. Never one late payment and I consistently carried a modest balance on my 2 Chase cards. Mainly to benefit from the rewards programs. Over the last few months I received notification in the mail, in the fine legalese print they love so much, that my APR was going from a fixed APR (8.9%) to a Prime plus 9.99 variable rate.
