I purchased a Maytag Performa (PAV-1 Series, Oversized Capacity Plus Washer) clothes washer in May 2003 from Best Buy. While washing a load of clothes on March 16, 2009, the washer leaked the entire tub load of water all over the basement floor -- from underneath the washer. All hose connections at the spigot and at the back of the washer are tight and not leaking. The discharge hose, at least where it is visible, is not leaking.
