This product does not work as pictured on TV - if you look closely - the trimmer is not even working - the trimming wheel is still! No wonder the dog is not scared! Besides being loud, it is rough and has a jerky motion. You have to fight with your dog just to give it one try. We returned ours. The reason we purchased this product was to find a tool that would trim our dog’s nails in a way that would NOT cause them anxiety - this method caused much more anxiety than an ordinary clipper.
