In 2003 after getting out of the military, I decided to go to City College for Bus. Administration. Upon applying they advised that I had to take out a mandatory loan. Ok, fine, this will pay my tuition. Well, I applied for Ch. 35 VA benefits and was awarded, and these benefits would pay tuition and books. Now I am showing as defaulting on a student loan for City College when my tuition was paid by VA.
