Barnes and Noble
I was given gift cards for Barnes and Noble which I tried to use online only to discover that online purchase is limited to "NOOKbooks" this was annoying since this information is not shared at the time of purchase. I live 50 miles from the closest Barnes and Noble, do not have a drivers license and my husband is a long haul truck driver, the entire purpose for the gift cards was the ability to purchase BOOKS online and have them delivered to my house. I personally think this is a marketing strategy to force consumers to buy gadgets required for reading ebooks. Amazon is rapidly becoming my best friend! read full review »
Citi Bank
12/09 my husband lost his job and shortly after that he contacted Citi to cancel our credit card. When I made the final payment I wrote on the payment receipt "final payment on cancelled account" A few months later we cancelled our Direct TV account and agreed to make payments on the early cancellation fee. We received a letter from Direct TV that we owed $0 because the early cancellation fee had been charged to the credit card. In January we had a problem with our reception. A service representative came to our house to investigate the problem. He discovered that the eye on the satellite was faulty and replaced it. In Febuary we received our bill with a $49.95 service charge. When I called to dispute the charge I was told that they would apply a $35 credit but we would have to pay the remaining $14.95, and suggested I add their $5.99 monthly protection to avoid this service charge in the future. Arizona Attorney General
I sent a complaint to the Arizona Attorney General and asked that they investigate Igomogul for a work at home scam. They sent me a letter that they had contacted Igomul along with a response from Igomogul, and informed me they were satisfied with the "investigation" and they did not resolve personal disputes.
How can it be a personal dispute when there are so many complaints about this company?

Igomogul is now threatening me with a lawsuit if I continue to make comments about their services. What a joke. I am only repeating what they did and I am not alone. The complaints here are exactly the same as mine. I find it amusing that when this company can not bully a person into an agreement they resort to threats.
If you have had any dealings with this company file complaints with IC3, Arizona BBB, Arizona State Attorney General and keep filing complaints until this company is investigated! read full review »
