The same thing has happened to me (purchased an $800+ camera, charged on credit card, order cancelled by them I might add, no credit applied) but now I have a new wrinkle to add...my credit card company ClickCiti/MasterCard is refusing to credit my credit card as they say there is no account anymore at the bank where web-shop had its account. Now one of the reasons for using an "internet credit card" I thought was to be protected in instances like these.
