I bought my first flatscreen from Magnavox. It was a 37" model and a BIG mistake! At about 1 year it was hard to get it to power up without a lot of effort. This got progressively worse so we left it on at all times to avoid the hassle. Then one day the power went out and that was it. The tv lasted not quite 2 years. After viewing this site it appears that we are not alone. I don't understand this.
