This company has horrible customer service. AT&T messed up totally in ordering this service for us. My specific questions in switching from Dish to Direct TV was that I would be able to continue recording movies (DVR) and be able to pause a show. YES, DEFINITELY, everything will be exactly the same. When Direct TV came out they installed a "standard" box. This was the wrong equipment that AT&T ordered and Direct TV installed.
