I have been with Direct TV for 2 years. I just called to cancel my service due to the fact that I am a renter and take the service that the landlord allows at his property. I recently called to cancel. I was told that it would take 6 to 8 months to return and overpayment $90+ to my checking account. They told me they would send a box for the equipment to be returned. the last time this happened the boxes never came.
