My original contract of $45 per month for my basic cell phone package turned into $120 for my first bill. Barely used the phone, Bell rep told me they are billing me for 2 month first. So I paid the bill thinking the next one will be $45 or so, but second bill was $110 so I called and complaint, they said I had over usage, which I don't want even argue with them about. If you are using their DSL (Slow as hell) internet connection you are in luck for robbery. Once for all the answer to who has a faster internet Bell or Rogers, the ANSWER IS ROGERS!!! Save yourself the headache of research, and their BS ads on TV. After returning my modem back to Bell after my Sympatico account was cancelled, I was been billed for 2 more month. After calling technical support 7 times no one is still able to solve a very simple problem. Technical support has no idea of web hosting technology what so ever. Been put on hold 30 min average each time. Word of advice if you are looking to run a web based business, you should stay away from Bell Sympatico, associated with Internet Domain Names for Business (no one will answer your calls or emails) and stay away from their hosting package called WebCenter.ca. This problem has been on going for 14 days, a simple mis-configuration of PHP Config file, no one over there will be able to provide an answer for you. read full review »
