I was also charged a "provisional finance charge" on my Macy's bill even though it wasn't due yet. I knew what my balance was and when I looked it up online it was higher and when I contacted them that was when I learned of their provisional finance charge . They said if I paid in full I could subtract it BUT if I pay the minimum or a pymt is received for less than the entire amount the provisional finance charge would remain on my acct. I always thought finance charges were added AFTER the bill was paid IF THERE WAS STILL A BALANCE. I will not use my Macy's card again after catching them trying this little trick. read full review »
