I hired Sears Carpet and Upholstery Care service to clean my carpets. The service man said they would be dry in a few hours. The Sears website say within 13 hours they would be dry. Unfortunately it took more than 48 hours with my air conditioning fan and several floor fans going the entire time to dry the carpet. My main concern is that the underlying original oak hard wood floors may have been damaged.
