I was contacted by GMAC to sell my timeshare. They said they could sell it immediately and for a good price ($75, 000 - $80, 000) because it was in a high demand area of FL. After much talking and promises, I paid them $1, 000. After they received the payment, I was given the run around. When I called to talk to the individual I had been dealing with, I was told he no longer worked for GMAC.
