Target weekly ad shows Wesern Digital external hard drive (500 GB) on sale for $49.99. Sale price to begin on Sunday September 6. On Sunday September 6 at store opening time (8 am) we arrived at store only to find that they were all sold out and no rainchecks. Sales staff very disinterested and unwilling help. Finally we pursuaded a salesperson to call and check availability at other stores. He found 2 at Springfield store but would not hold them. By the time we got to Springfield they were gone, but did we want the $99.00 one?? This has happened so many times at Target. read full review »
