I was told I didn't qualify for a loan modification because my income went down and my current payment is more the 31% of my current income. I have a interest only loan with an ajustable rate that I have found out was not done right or disclosed completely at the time of the loan 3 years ago. My payment has jumped $500 a month since I recieved the loan, and if my income had not gone down I wouldn't need the modification. My loan is the type of loan this modification is suppose to be helping. Something has got to be done about the mortgage company not helping like they are supposed to be. read full review »
