My car was totalled on August 21, 2009 by someone who ran a red light. I amazingly was not badly injured because I was hit on the driver's side. I had been paying on time every month including the month of August to Capital One like agreed. I had the car since November 2008. When I purchased the car, I also purchased GAP insurance and of course I had full coverage. My insurance paid everything to Capital One less $1900 which GAP would be paying the balance.
