My husband and I own two half acre lots joining, we are trying to get a standard septic system put on the property so we can eventually move on it. We were told 11 years ago when we bought it that we could put a septic on each lot, since then some one decided that a septic can't be put on an acre that you need 2 acres. We feel that there should be a grandfather law permiting us to put a standard septic system on our property.
