We have a home owner protection plan. On 1/7/09 we had our water heater tank burst. I placed a call to First American co. After explaining the situation and letting them know that in order to stop the flooding we had to shut off the water to the entire hose. The CSR said that he was going to submit an emergency claim and we would here back from them and a contractor within two hours and have this resolved within eight hours.
