Hi, I came to California, US mid January 2008 on a H1 VISA accompanied by my wife( who was on H4 VISA). My wife wanted to enroll into a course in a nearby community college immediately after our arrival, but backed out after she realized that the same courses at a cheaper price if she waits for a years duration( as she would be considered a resident). Hi, I had filed my taxes through IBSN for the previous financial year. On the tax evaluation summary sheet, they had given me 2 options with different service charge for each. Initially I thought I will go with the option 1 and hence selected the same and also paid the service charge of 400 odd dollars that was designated for that particular option.
