We live in a rural area where high speed internet is not available to us. We had HughesNet for less then a year when we were continually experiencing Satellite outage messages and very slow service - slower than dial-up. I spent alot of time on the phone with customer service reps who could barely be understood. After several conversations in which they had me continually resetting the modem, etc. they told me our equipment was out of date and needed to be upgraded.
