First ...Dont buy a water heater from Lowes! Second...Dont Buy a WHIRLPOOL...As a matter of fact dont buy anything from WHIRLPOOL!!! I have been fighting with WHIRLPOOL now for almost 3 yrs...Not only am i out over 500$ ...I DONT HAVE HOT WATER!..They have "technicians" that are rude and ignorant..that try to diagnose the problem over the phone and if they dont get it right then your out of luck until the next time u get fed up enough to call back and argue with a bunch of morons over the phone for another hour!
