About a month ago, I was bombarded with pop-ups on my home PC from Cyber Security Anti-virus Software telling me I needed to renew my anti-virus program because viruses had been detected. What sucked me into the scam was that the "company" (now I know to be a very serious virus) had disguised itself as my actual anti-virus program, Mcfee. I got sick of seeing the pop-ups and figured I would just renew so that it would leave me alone.
