I purchased a HP PL4260N a few years ago from Best Buy. On Dec 31 2009 the screen lost its picture after the known dreaded POP. Sound was still there, picture was not. After extensive research on the internet it is apparent that this is a manufactured defect. I called tech support and got nowhere since the product is out of warranty; the cost for repair is $600+ and does not even guarantee the repair.
