I also purchased a Calypso washer back in November 2003 from Sears. I was never informed of any class action suit. I have had four service calls in the last five months, and their contracts says that they will replace the machine if they change four parts in a 12 month period. What they do is change one part and wait to see if it will last for a year that why they can say if they have to change another part that it was in another year.
