While out of the country in Central America, my teenage son attempted to make an international call back to the US from a pay phone using his VisaBuxx card. Unaware of the negative consequences associated with such practices he was subsequently charged US$27 per minute for a call that was not connected and lasting LESS than 2 minutes.
